WHO: Open to the youth, 50lbs and UNDER in weight.

WHEN: Sign up and Weigh In at 9:00am, Saturday June 3rd, 2023 at the JCSP Indoor Arena. Ride at 10:00am.

BASICS: Youth must be weighed in at time of entry. Safety helmets and vest will be provided by the JCSP. Participants may furnish their own safety equipment. Contestants must ride holding on to the sheep’s wool or sheep’s
body. NO ROPES WILL BE USED.

QUALIFIERS: The Top 40 riders will come return to the PRCA Rodeo with 10 contestants per performance. Draw of the top
40 will be posted after the completion of tryouts on our website at sheriffsposse.com. You will be responsible
for checking your child’s draw positions, as well as keeping up with your child’s back number. Contestant back
numbers must be worn on the child’s back during each ride.
There will be 10 riders in each evening performance on June 7th, 2023, June 8th, 2023, June 9th, 2023 and June
10th, 2023.

DRESS CODE: Mutton Busters MUST wear a long sleeved shirts, jeans, boots and a cowboy hat or helmet
during the PRCA Rodeo Performances. NO Exposed feet at any time. Dress Code will be enforced

I understand that when I check in, I will be required to pay $20.00 per child to participate.

I Agree to the following:

I/we grant our consent to my/our child (“MINOR PARTICIPANT”) being allowed the privilege of participating in the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse (the JCSP, herein) Mutton Busting (herein the “Event”) on the grounds of the JCSP. I/we, for myself/ourselves, and on behalf of minor Participant, our heirs, successors, executors, administrators and personal representatives, hereby knowingly and intentionally waive and release, indemnify and hold harmless the JCSP, and their officers, trustees, sponsoring agents, sponsors, Consultants, other participants, members, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, heirs, successors, and Assigns (herein the “releasees”) from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of action, liabilities, suits, Expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) (the “claims”) which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with minor participant’s participation in the event and being on the premises before, after and during the event, including but not limited to, negligence of any kind or nature, whether foreseen or unforeseen, arising directly or indirectly out of any damage, loss, injury, paralysis or death to minor participant or to minor participant’s property as a result of minor participant’s participation in the event and being on the premises before and after and during the event, whether such damage or loss was caused or alleged to be caused, in whole or in part, by the negligence of the JCSP.
