The Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse (JCSP) is teaming up with Russell Feed and Supply to bring back Military and First Responder Night with Free Admission on Wednesday June 7th, 2023.
In 2022, the JCSP decided to offer free admission to military and first responders on the first night of the rodeo as a way to give back to our local heroes. The JCSP felt is was also a great opportunity to give back to the entire Johnson County area with free admission. In doing so, some families attended the JCSP PRCA Rodeo for the first time, and quickly became fans.
This is year, the JCSP and Russell Feed and Supply are teaming up with SHINE Together’s PROJECT 66 to gather approved food items. There are 66 hours between a high school student’s lunch on Friday and their breakfast on Monday morning. The food items collected that evening will help fill backpacks full of food for over 100 High School students across Johnson County
The Wednesday PRCA Rodeo performance is a night to honor the men and women that have the hardest and most courageous jobs of all. Our military and first responders. They, along with their families will be highlighted through out the rodeo performance.
The night is sure to be enjoyed by all that attend. The JCSP PRCA Rodeo will be sure to have family fun entertainment including WNFR Cowboys, World Champions, born to buck livestock, and hilarious rodeo clown, Ronald Burton. And, be sure to come hungry, because the JCSP World Famous Posse Burgers are back along with a full list of food and drinks.
