NEWS & STORIES

The JCSP get’s a new Look

The JCSP has a new look, a new website, and new drive to continue long time traditions.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse is proud to announce the launch of our new logo and branding as part of our ongoing growth of updating the posse.

Since the 1951, we have strived to promote good will among horsemen and other area citizens and to continue the interest in the western industry. To continue that ongoing interest in our industry, we felt it was time to update our look.

After some consideration, we chose a brand and logo that reflects a more modern look and captures what we are.  A Texas Based group that is traditional, yet ready to move forward.

The new brand features a custom image of a saddle bronc rider. As true rodeo fans know, the saddle bronc riding in considered the classic event of rodeo.  Why create a rodeo event in our logo? Because, every year we host the JCSP PRCA Rodeo, which is the largest fundraising event we produce.

The logo also includes western style lettering, that reminds our group and visitors that we can never stray too far from our western roots.

When choosing the colors of the new logo, it was easy to stick with the look of the State Flag of Texas, and continue the patriotic Red,White and Blue.

While creating the new logo, we decided it was time to rebrand the largest event that we produce.  The JCSP PRCA Rodeo. And since our new look already included the custom bucking horse, it was a very easy transition.

We incorporated the emblem of our rodeo’s sanctioning body, the Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association, (PRCA).

We invite you to follow our journey, as we move forward in today’s market.  We want to remind all our visitors that there is something special about the JCSP, the people.  The people that work hard to continue a tradition in Johnson County.  The same people that are proud to make Cleburne, Texas a destination spot for visitors and events.  Inviting visitors helps to stimulate our economy.  But above all, with our new look, we want to make sure everyone knows that the JCSP is the place to come relax, compete and fellowship, because places like this are hard to come by.

We invite you to look around our newly built website, and see all that we have to offer for your next event.
