For over 60 years the members of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse have brought the finest outdoor professional rodeos in the United States to the residents of Johnson and surrounding counties. It is our goal to continue to provide our community with quality, low cost, family oriented events that residents can look forward to attending year after year.
“The most gratifying thing is to see smiles on the little kids faces, to see them with grandma and grandpa who might have been here at the rodeo when they were their age, we purposely keep the prices low to make it a family-friendly show.”
— David Welty, JCSP Captain.
Festivities consists of varied activities including a kick-off parade, live music, nightly dances, calf roping, bull riding, and the annual crowning of the JCSP Rodeo Queen. Events begin on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday night.
