The Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse
As a non-profit organization, The Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse (JCSP) strives to be an integral part of the community. The JCSP provides family-oriented activities and services related to the deep western heritage Texas is famous for. In addition to activities for members and affiliated organizations, a major event each year is the presentation of the PRCA rodeo.
For over 64 consecutive years, the members of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse have brought the finest outdoor professional rodeos in the United States to the residents of Johnson and surrounding counties. Each June, the public is cordially invited to the annual professional rodeo event held at the JCSP facility on Highway 174, just 2.3 miles south of Johnson County Courthouse in downtown Cleburne. Plan to enjoy an evening of great professional rodeo entertainment in a family-oriented environment. In addition to a menu of food, drinks, snacks and treats, our full-service concession area serves the legendary “Posse Burger.” Bring the family and come hungry… ready for some western food, fun, and great rodeo entertainment!
Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse is located in the heart of North Central Texas, in the community of Cleburne, Texas.
